Prize Giving
It was wonderful to see so many of you at Prize Giving today. The children did so well and it is was super to celebrate their success this year. Well done P2!
Holiday Homework
Mums and Dads often ask us for things to work on over the holidays. We have recently completed a big Maths assessment with every child in the Primary Department. This assessment highlighted areas that could be worked on.
Here is a list of areas to work on.
Number recognition up to 100 and beyond.
Counting in 10s from any unit (4,14,24...)
Counting backwards.
Number just before.
Number just after.
Doubles up to 12+12 (6+6, 9+9... )

Emotions
We did a science experiment with Dr Marks about our emotions. It was very interesting and we learned a lot about how we feel and what happens in our brain.

Heartstart
We began our health fair with a heartstart session which was very interesting and helped us know what to do in an emergency.
