Weight

Today in maths we were measuring the weight of different classroom objects.


We were also looking at patterns. We completed some then made up our own and asked our friend to complete it on the iPad.

Skating

It was great to be back on the ice today. Everyone remembered really well what to do and some people were even trying it for the first time. Well done P2!



































There will be no skating next week but we will return again in a fortnights time.

Ice skating

This is just a little reminder that we are skating tomorrow. I am looking forward to seeing P2 again and I look forward to hearing all their stories. :)

topic

This afternoon for topic we were talking about the future of Scotland and how we are part of that. We spoke about what jobs we want to have when we grow up and how we can make Scotland great. We drew pictures and made inventions with kinex, we played in the role play area and had different jobs that people in Scotland could have.

Science Centre

P2 and P1 will be visiting the Science Centre next Monday as part of our science topic about the sun, moon and stars. Children should bring a packed lunch and no more than £5 for the shop. Trip uniform can be worn on Monday.

Art

Look at our colourful painting creations. We looked at symmetry and then tried our own symmetrical kites.
