Well done to Rachael who received a certificate for super effort in language work.

We collected library books in today and this will be the end of library until P3. If you have any books at home please hand them in. Thanks

Water

In the hot weather it would be great if children could come to school with a number of drinks so that they can keep hydrated throughout the day. Water bottles can be filled up at lunch. Thanks

Everyone has come on so much this time with their ice skating. We will be skating again in P3!

Homework

Some children do not have any homework tonight as they have finished their reading book. Other children will be completing their book tonight. Spelling homework has now finished for P2. We will continue reading after the holiday and we will also be doing a exercise and lunch diary.

Pirates

On Friday 8th June, P2 and P1 are going to the Tall Ship in Glasgow as part of their Pirate topic. Children are invited to come dressed as a Pirate on the day. A packed lunch should also be brought on the day. Children do not need any money. Thanks

New P1

Ethan joined us this morning in P2. He will be in our new P1 class in August. He was a very hard worker and it will be great to have him with us in Cedars.

P1 walkabout

The new P1 children went for a walkabout round the school and met some of the teachers. They also ate their snack in the lunch room.
